“I’ve been asked many times why my company is called Little Bird LuLu. When I was a baby, (or knee high to a grasshopper, as my grandmother used to say), my mother called me “little bird,” because of my big, brown eyes and expectant gaze. Her alternate nickname for me was “Lu Lu,” which she called me often. Naturally, I put the two together and created Little Bird LuLu, a company with products made out of love, just like the sweet childhood names of my youth.
The company is a tribute to my wonderful childhood; my love for cool, funky products and accessories, and as a way to provide fun gear for my beautiful newborn son. I now have two little birds of my own, which offers twice the fun, but ten times more fatigue (how is that math possible?).
